STAFF REPORTER RAWALPINDI: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great reverence and respect at Government Associate College for Women, Sahal, Rawalpindi. On this occasion, Principal Ms. Sumaira Hameed addressed the students and teachers, stating that “Teachers are the architects of the nation who not only impart knowledge but also instill morals, character, and positive values in the hearts of students.” She emphasized the need to reestablish the dignity, respect, and status of teachers in society. During the event, the principal presented appreciation certificates to the teachers and acknowledged their hard work and dedication. On the other hand, students also expressed their gratitude by presenting their teachers with bouquets, cards, and messages of thanks, adding warmth and affection to the atmosphere. Students delivered speeches, recited poems, and performed skits that highlighted the role and importance of teachers. The audience appreciated the program wholeheartedly and enthusiastically applauded to encourage the participants.The dignified event further strengthened the bond between students and teachers and once again highlighted the greatness of teachers.
