MULTAN: High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan met with the leadership of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) on Sunday, October 25, 2026, to discuss opportunities for strengthening trade, business and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
MCCI President Dr. Shafiq Khan Pitafi, along with business leaders and entrepreneurs, attended the meeting. Discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, future business opportunities and measures to promote bilateral trade and commercial ties.
The Bangladeshi High Commissioner was accompanied by Press Counsellor Md. Tayub Ali and Counsellor (Political) and Head of Chancery Israt Jahan, among other officials.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore avenues for closer engagement between the business communities of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
