Islamabad: Sardar Waqar Shehzad Advocate attended the grand reception hosted on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day at Serena Hotel, Islamabad. He termed his participation in the ceremony celebrating the strong and enduring relations between Pakistan and Qatar as an honor.
The reception was attended by Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gillani and Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, along with other prominent political and diplomatic figures. Sardar Waqar Shehzad Advocate thanked His Excellency Ali bin Mubarak Al Khater, Ambassador of Qatar, for the gracious invitation and praised Qatar’s visionary leadership and its commitment to peace, diplomacy and development.
He stated that Pakistan–Qatar relations are based on mutual respect, trust and cooperation, and are expected to grow stronger in the future. Concluding his remarks, he expressed best wishes
