RAWALPIND: Sheikh Abdul Waheed, traders’ leader and Vice President of the Punjab National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony, said that the Pakistan Army is the pride of the nation and that the entire country stands united with its armed forces. He emphasized national unity, rejection of negative propaganda, and the need to boost the morale of the forces defending Pakistan.
He termed the use of any land to incite hostility against Pakistan or its armed forces unacceptable and urged Pakistanis at home and abroad to uphold the country’s dignity. Praising the role of the armed forces in combating terrorism, he said Army Chief General Asim Munir’s leadership and strategic vision are a source of pride, adding that the nation stands firmly with the military in all circumstances.
