RABAT: King Mohammed VI held several telephone conversations on Saturday with leaders of Gulf countries, reaffirming Morocco’s solidarity and strong support for their security and sovereignty.
According to an official statement, the Moroccan monarch spoke with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Bahrain; Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the Qatar.
During the calls, King Mohammed VI strongly condemned the attacks targeting the sovereignty and territorial security of these brotherly nations. He reiterated Morocco’s full support for all legitimate measures taken by these countries to safeguard their security and ensure the safety and peace of their citizens.
The Moroccan King emphasized that the strong fraternal relations and enduring solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Gulf states remain firm. He stressed that the security and stability of the Arab Gulf countries are closely linked to the security and stability of Morocco.
He further stated that any threat to the security of these nations would be considered a serious and unacceptable act that directly threatens regional stability.
