DG Sports Tashfeen Haider Welcomes Babar Azam for Historic Flood Relief Match in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s cricket pride and world-renowned batsman, Babar Azam, arrived in Peshawar on Friday ahead of the historic flood relief charity match, aimed at supporting flood-affected families and contributing to their rehabilitation.

Upon his arrival, Babar Azam was warmly received by Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tashfeen Haider. During their meeting, the two discussed the final preparations for the much-anticipated match scheduled for tomorrow.

The charity match, a symbol of solidarity with flood-affected communities, is being organized to raise funds and awareness for reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts across the province.

Babar Azam expressed his full support for the initiative and lauded the efforts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and sports authorities for using sports as a means to bring relief and hope to those impacted by the recent floods.
