A nation united can stand like a steel wall against every form of oppression, Saqaf Yasar

Peshawar: Pakistan Hindkowan Movement paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the historic and tragic Qissa Khwani incident of 1930. Leaders of the movement, along with heads of various social and political organizations and a large number of citizens, attended the event.

Chairman Saqaf Yasar said that the Qissa Khwani tragedy teaches us that when a nation becomes united, it can stand like a steel wall against every form of oppression. He added that even today, unity remains the greatest strength of any nation.

Provincial President Akbar Sethi said that the people of Peshawar must always remain united for their rights, identity, and land. He stated that the sacrifices of the past continue to guide us toward unity and courage.

He further said that during the colonial era, the people of Peshawar stood firm against oppressive laws and did not bow before tyranny.

The leaders expressed their resolve to eliminate differences and work collectively through a joint platform for the development of the city and the nation. At the end, floral wreaths were laid at the martyrs’ memorial, and prayers were offered for their elevated ranks.
