SHERGARH: The 13th death anniversary of Imran Mohmand Shaheed was observed on June 18 with a grand ceremony held at his chamber in Shergarh. Family members, supporters, and local residents paid tribute to the late leader by visiting his grave, offering flowers, and reciting Fateha for the elevation of his ranks.
Special prayers were offered for the martyrs, seeking Allah Almighty’s blessings and acceptance of their sacrifices. Speakers remembered Imran Mohmand Shaheed’s contributions to public service and highlighted his enduring place in the political history of Mardan.
Former provincial assembly member Jamshed Khan Mohmand said that although Imran Mohmand began his political career with the Awami National Party, he later contested the 2013 elections as an independent candidate from the then PK-27 (now PK-61) and emerged victorious, reflecting the trust of the people in his leadership.
Participants paid tribute to Imran Mohmand Shaheed and his companions who lost their lives on June 18 during a funeral gathering in Shergarh. They pledged to continue his mission of serving the people and upholding the values for which he stood.
Prayers were also offered for the eternal peace of all martyrs and for strength to carry forward their legacy of public service.
