PESHAWAR: Member of the Provincial Assembly Arifa Bibi has called on the provincial government to take immediate steps to resolve the pressing issues faced by the people of Arandu and Lower Chitral.
In a press statement, Arifa Bibi expressed solidarity with the residents of the region, saying they are enduring severe hardships and have been compelled to stage protests to demand their basic rights.
She said the people of Arandu are deprived of essential facilities such as paved roads, healthcare services, education, electricity, and mobile network connectivity, adding that these are fundamental rights that must be ensured by the government.
The lawmaker urged the provincial authorities to take the grievances of Arandu and Chitral’s residents seriously, resolve their legitimate demands on a priority basis, and take concrete measures to alleviate their ongoing suffering.
