SWAT: Senior Grade-21 officer Arshad Khan has assumed charge as Adviser to the Federal Ombudsman for Malakand Division following his appointment by the federal government.
Arshad Khan is a seasoned administrative officer with extensive experience in various key positions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has previously served as Secretary Information, Broadcasting and Public Relations, Commissioner Bannu Division, Secretary Education, Deputy Commissioner Malakand, Deputy Commissioner Buner and Director General Excise, among other important assignments.
The federal government has also issued a formal notification regarding his appointment, citing his extensive administrative experience and professional capabilities.
In his new capacity, Arshad Khan will deal with matters relating to public complaints against federal government departments in Malakand Division. He is expected to facilitate the effective follow-up and resolution of complaints falling within the jurisdiction of the Federal Ombudsman.
His appointment is being viewed as an important development for improving the redressal mechanism for citizens and ensuring more effective handling of public grievances in the division.
