Bunir Gul-ud-Namir 2026 Festival to Celebrate Culture, Sports and Youth Talent: Taj Tarand

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand, has announced that the grand cultural, sports and youth festival “Bunir Gul-ud-Namir 2026” will be held from June 28 to 30 to showcase the rich traditions, cultural heritage and youthful talent of Bunir.

He said the festival will provide an excellent platform to highlight Bunir’s colorful culture, local skills, traditional sports and the creative abilities of young people. Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly from Bunir and adjoining districts, have been invited to participate in the three-day event.

Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand stated that culture is the identity of a nation, while youth are its greatest asset. He said the provincial government is taking practical measures to preserve cultural heritage, promote sports and create positive opportunities for young people.

He described “Bunir Gul-ud-Namir 2026” as more than a festival, calling it a celebration of local traditions, community values and the immense potential of the youth.

The festival will feature cultural activities, traditional games, local arts and various youth-oriented events aimed at promoting social engagement and regional heritage.

The advisor urged the public to actively participate in the festival and support efforts to preserve cultural traditions while encouraging the talents of the younger generation.
