Corps Commander Peshawar Meets Dir Police, Praises Sacrifices

DIR: Corps Commander Peshawar met police officers and personnel during his visit to Dir district on August 24, 2026. The Inspector General of Police KP, DIG Malakand, DPOs of Upper and Lower Dir, and other civil and police officials were also present.

The Corps Commander praised the police force for its frontline role and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, saying their contributions to maintaining peace were highly commendable.

The IGP KP said the Pakistan Army and police were fighting the Khawarij together, shoulder to shoulder, and would continue their joint efforts for peace and security.

The Corps Commander paid tribute to police martyrs, saying their sacrifices for peace would always be remembered.

Police personnel raised enthusiastic slogans and reaffirmed their resolve to serve the country and nation with courage and dedication.
