BAJAUR: Deputy Commissioner Adnan Fareed made a surprise visit to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Khar, where he inspected the emergency ward, availability of medicines, laboratory facilities, attendance of medical staff, and overall arrangements at the hospital.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner met with patients under treatment and their attendants, listened to their problems and complaints, and inquired about the medical facilities being provided to them. The patients apprised him of various issues, upon which the Deputy Commissioner took immediate notice and issued necessary directives to the Medical Superintendent (MS) of DHQ Hospital Khar for the prompt resolution of patients’ problems, uninterrupted supply of medicines, availability of medical staff, and further improvement of healthcare services.
Deputy Commissioner Adnan Fareed also met with doctors and medical staff and directed them to ensure timely, quality, and better healthcare facilities for patients. He emphasized that addressing public complaints and improving medical services at the hospital should remain a top priority.
