PESHAWAR: A series of colourful events is being held at schools in Peshawar in connection with Defence and Martyrs’ Day 2026, organised by the Pakistan Army.
Special ceremonies were held at ICM Model School Warsak Road, Plei-B Cadet College Hashtnagri, and Aligarh Education School Hazrat Jan Road. Officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army attended the events and encouraged the students.
The students joined Army personnel in the flag-hoisting ceremony and expressed their love for Pakistan. They paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs through speeches, national songs and impressive tableaux.
Students also showcased their creative talents and patriotic spirit, receiving appreciation from the audience. The ceremonies concluded with the distribution of prizes among outstanding performers and enthusiastic chants of “Pakistan Zindabad.”
