Federal minister welcomes new members, says people prefer performance over slogans

SHANGLA: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Engineer Amir Muqam addressed a party joining ceremony in Shang, Bisham, where several families announced their affiliation with the PML-N.
The event was held at the hujra of late Manager Ali Sardar Khan. His sons, Ikramullah Khalid, Aizazullah Khalid and Farhanullah Khalid, along with their family members and supporters, formally joined the PML-N. Engineer Amir Muqam welcomed the new members by presenting them with party caps and congratulated them on joining the party.
Among those present were MPA Muhammad Rashad Khan, Riaz Khan, Muhammad Humayun Khan, Amir Zeb Khan, Nausherwan Nazim and other party leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Amir Muqam said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had become frustrated with what he described as poor governance, stalled development and unresolved public issues during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s tenure. He claimed that the public now preferred practical performance and development over political slogans.
He said PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was recognized for promoting development and public welfare, highlighting projects including motorways, power generation, educational institutions and healthcare facilities completed during his governments.
The federal minister said Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was working tirelessly to improve the country’s economy and ensure public welfare. He added that the government remained committed to economic stability and sustainable development through practical measures.
Welcoming the new entrants, Amir Muqam thanked them for their confidence in the party and assured them that the PML-N would strive to meet their expectations through public service and development-oriented politics.
