DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence, Sardar Fatehullah Khan Mian Khel, inaugurated a Free IT Training Program for youth at the Superior Professional Computer Institute in Tehsil Prova.
Addressing the ceremony, he said Pakistan’s youth must be equipped with modern education and technical skills to meet evolving global challenges. He emphasized that IT and digital skills are essential for securing a brighter future and that collaboration between the government and private educational institutions can help reduce unemployment while strengthening the national economy.
He termed the free IT training initiative a commendable step, saying it would enable young people to acquire skills in computers, digital technologies, and freelancing, creating respectable employment opportunities.
Fatehullah Khan Mian Khel described Pakistan’s youth as the country’s greatest asset and stressed the need to expand skill development initiatives, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the southern districts. He also acknowledged the role of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in promoting youth empowerment. Teachers, students, social figures, and local elders attended the event.
