ISLAMABAD: Four players qualified for the next round of the ITBA Pre-Azadi Cup 2026 Tenpin Bowling Tournament after impressive performances at the Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold, F-7 Markaz.
President of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz ur Rehman, inaugurated the two-day tournament. Around 50 bowlers from Islamabad and Rawalpindi participated in the opening phase.
The qualifiers included Ijaz ur Rehman (762 points), Faheem Akbar (719), Ayzaz ur Rehman (714), and Muhammad Hussain Chattha (713). Each player competed in four games.
The next round will be held at the Jacaranda Bowling Alley, DHA Phase-II, Islamabad.
The Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship 2026, organised by the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, will be held from August 8 to 14 at the Leisure City Bowling Club, with men and women players from across the country expected to participate.
