On the directives of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, two new electricity feeders have been approved to address the long-standing power-related issues faced by the residents of Pakha Ghulam and its surrounding areas in Peshawar.

In this regard, WAPDA Chief Engineer Planning & Development Asif Jan Marwat, PESCO Project Director Ajmal Khan, and PESCO Additional Director Shan Haider briefed Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House on the progress regarding the establishment of the new feeders.

Prominent political and social figures from the area, including Pakistan Peoples Party Provincial Deputy General Secretary Malik Saeed, Malik Siddiq, Malik Muhammad Zaheer, and senior journalist Ali Hamza, were also present on the occasion.

The local dignitaries informed the Governor that residents have been facing severe hardships due to prolonged electricity load-shedding, frequent tripping, and low voltage.

WAPDA officials stated that the two new feeders would be completed within three months, providing relief to a population of more than 50,000 people by resolving multiple electricity-related issues.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi directed WAPDA authorities to ensure that the project is completed on a priority basis.

The delegation thanked Governor Faisal Karim Kundi for his efforts and commitment in resolving this long-standing issue for the local community.
