HARIPUR: Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf and Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Mehboob Abad Sharif, Havelian, Pir Syed Mohiuddin Mehboob Hanafi Qadri Kazmi Maturidi, said the Islamic system of trade is founded on justice, honesty and trustworthiness, urging traders to promote Islam through exemplary character.
Addressing a delegation of traders from Haripur, Havelian, Abbottabad and Rawalpindi, he stressed that Islam strictly prohibits fraud, hoarding, usury and exploitation, and called for fairness, transparency and ethical business practices. He also highlighted the Prophetic prohibition against practices that create artificial price hikes through middlemen.
The traders pledged to uphold Islamic values, integrity and honesty in their businesses and to make trade a means of serving both religion and humanity.
