PESHAWAR: On World Environment Day 2026, Secretary Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Junaid Khan, urged citizens to play an active role in protecting the environment and natural resources. He said environmental conservation is essential for a healthy and prosperous future and emphasized the need for tree plantation, pollution control, and climate resilience.
Junaid Khan reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to safeguarding forests, wildlife, and natural resources, calling on the public to adopt environmentally responsible lifestyles and contribute to building a greener and sustainable Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
