Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has said that the province has become a highly conducive and attractive region for investment, development, and modern business activities, offering vast opportunities in real estate, housing, tourism, special economic zones, and infrastructure.
He expressed these views while addressing, as the chief guest, the inaugural ceremony of the 12th edition of the Pakistan International Property Expo (PIPEX) 2026 held in Peshawar yesterday. The Governor formally inaugurated the expo and also visited various stalls.
The event was attended by President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf, representatives of various housing societies, builders, business personalities, and people from different walks of life.
In his address, the Governor welcomed local and foreign investors and business figures, appreciated the efforts of the organizers, particularly the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and termed the event a positive development. He said that this world-class exhibition in Peshawar has presented a positive and dynamic image of Pakistan to the world.
He added that this platform is creating new avenues of trust, partnerships, and investment at the international level. He further said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwaโs ancient civilization, entrepreneurial spirit of its people, and the innovation of its youth have the full potential to turn the province into a hub of economic growth.
The Governor emphasized that these capabilities can be effectively utilized through proper facilities and institutional support, while transparency and better planning can enable the province to play a significant role not only in the national but also in the regional economy.
