PESHAWAR.. Shafi Jan, advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for information and Public relations has reaffirmed government stance of resolving genuine issues of media and protecting rights abs interests of all stake holders in this respect. Talking to a delegation of senior journalists, who called on him on Monday, Shafi Jan said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has initiated work on a comprehensive plan, aimed at encouraging media people for raising the genuine issue of the province. He shown satisfaction over the role of media in highlighting the genuine issue of NFC and others.
Earlier the journalists including M Riaz President and Zia Ul Haq Vice President of Peshawar Press Club, Kashif Ud Syed President of Khyber Union of Journalists and Shamim Shahid President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists workers have briefed Shafi Jan on Journalists Provincial Convention to be held on Thursday. The Convention on Media Regulations and issues will be attended by journalists from all over the province. Shafi Jan accepted the invitation of gracing the occasion as a chief guest.
