PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of senior journalist and Deputy News Editor of Daily Mashriq, Tariq Mateen.
In a condolence statement issued here, Shafi Jan stated that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Tariq Mateen’s passing. He praised the deceased as a talented and dedicated professional journalist who rendered invaluable services to the field of journalism, adding that his professional contributions will always be remembered with high regard.
The provincial information minister extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul a high place in paradise, bless him with forgiveness, and grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
