PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken a major step towards establishing a modern, secure, transparent and internationally aligned examination system for public sector recruitment, with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) and the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the introduction of Computer-Based Testing (CBT).
Under the agreement, ETEA will provide KPPSC with advanced CBT technology, technical assistance and technology transfer, enabling the Commission to conduct recruitment examinations in line with international standards and best practices.
The partnership also focuses on strengthening institutional capacity through professional training of KPPSC officers and staff, equipping them with the technical expertise required to effectively implement and manage computer-based examinations.
The introduction of CBT is expected to make the examination process faster, more secure, transparent and efficient, while providing candidates with access to a world-class digital testing environment. The initiative is also anticipated to significantly enhance the integrity, reliability, security and overall quality of recruitment examinations.
