MALAKAND: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand Division Syed Fida Hassan Shah has announced a comprehensive action plan to maintain peace and eliminate terrorism across Malakand Division, particularly in Swat.
Speaking to the media after a high-level security meeting, the RPO said law and order remain firmly under control and no anti-state element will be allowed to disrupt peace. He expressed confidence in the operational readiness of the police force, stating that officers are fully prepared to counter security threats.
He said the police budget has increased significantly over the past two years, enabling the force to acquire modern equipment and improve its operational capabilities. A scientific and coordinated strategy has also been developed to tackle terrorism more effectively.
Syed Fida Hassan Shah reaffirmed that there are no “no-go areas” in Malakand Division and assured tourists that all major tourist destinations are secure, with KP Police remaining on high alert to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.
