DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Commissioner Dera Dawood Khan, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ghulam Mubashir Maken, MNA Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur, and other senior security officials jointly visited the Police Command and Control Center late Thursday night to review security arrangements for the central and traditional 10th Muharram (Ashura) processions.
During the visit, the officials received a comprehensive briefing on the Command and Control Center’s CCTV surveillance network, digital monitoring system, and security measures in place along procession routes. RPO Ghulam Mubashir Maken informed the delegation that additional CCTV cameras had been installed at sensitive locations to ensure round-the-clock monitoring and strengthen security.
The delegation also reviewed the preparedness of the Quick Response Force, Rapid Response Force, Al-Baraq troops, and other relevant departments stationed at the control center to respond swiftly to any emergency.

Speaking on the occasion, the senior officials reaffirmed that the protection of citizens’ lives and property and the peaceful observance of Muharram remain the administration’s top priorities. They said all security agencies and the district administration are working in close coordination to maintain law and order and ensure an immediate response to any untoward incident.
