ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal produced a commanding performance to win the Jansher Khan–BARD–Markhor Challenger Squash Tournament 2026, defeating Anas Ali Shah in straight games at the Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad.
Nasir dominated the final from the outset, securing an emphatic 3-0 victory with scores of 11-1, 11-3, 11-2 in just 15 minutes. His outstanding display of speed, precision, and court control left little opportunity for his opponent to mount a challenge.
The championship victory highlighted Nasir Iqbal’s excellent form and reinforced his status as one of the country’s leading squash players. Spectators witnessed an impressive all-round performance as he maintained complete control throughout the final.
The tournament, held under the Jansher Khan–BARD–Markhor Challenger banner, featured talented players competing for top honours, with the final providing a fitting conclusion to the event.
