PESHAWAR: Renowned and respected Ulema from various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited the historic Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar on Tuesday.
During the visit, the Ulema met Inspector General Frontier Corps (North), Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, and held a detailed discussion on the prevailing security situation in the province.
The delegation paid tribute to the sacrifices of security personnel by laying floral wreaths at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offering Fateha for the departed souls.
The meeting focused on the current security challenges, their possible solutions, and the vital role of religious scholars in supporting ongoing operations against the Khawarij. The Ulema shared their views and recommendations and assured full cooperation with the security forces in efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.

Speaking on the occasion, IGFC (North) Major General Rao Imran Sartaj reaffirmed that there would be no compromise on the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in Bajaur and the Tirah Plains. He emphasized that peace would be restored in these areas at all costs through coordinated efforts and public support.
The visit highlighted the importance of cooperation between religious leaders and security institutions in promoting peace, unity, and stability across the province.
