He emphasized that trees play a vital role in maintaining a clean environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, lowering temperatures, and providing fuel, fruit, and timber, while also contributing to economic stability.

SDEO Dr. Humayun Khan Khattak, in his speech, said that the Green Enrollment Campaign is not only focused on plantation but also aims to enroll more children in schools to build an educated and healthy society. He stressed the need for active participation from teachers, students, and parents in making the campaign successful.

Other speakers, including Assistant Education Officers, also highlighted the importance of tree plantation, stating that trees are essential for reducing environmental pollution, preventing floods and soil erosion, and mitigating extreme weather conditions.

On the directives of District Education Officer (Male) Tahir Shah, all head teachers have been instructed to actively participate in the plantation drive and plant maximum saplings in their respective institutions.

At the end of the ceremony, participants collectively planted saplings and reaffirmed their commitment to continue both the plantation and enrollment campaigns on a sustained basis to ensure a clean, green, and safe environment for future generations.
