PESHAWAR : On the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, a prestigious and spiritually uplifting Naat recitation competition was organized at Radio Tehzeeb with the cooperation of Ezel Cosmetics Pakistan. More than 200 female students from various educational institutions participated in the competition. Following the preliminary rounds, 20 students who demonstrated outstanding performance qualified for the final round, where they impressed the audience with their melodious voices and graceful style of Naat recitation.
According to the results, Fiza Ali, a student of The Plebe Cadet School Peshawar Campus, secured the first position with an impressive performance. Iman Khalid of Hadaf College, Dalazak Road, stood second, while Amina Fareed of Begum Shahabuddin Peshawar secured the third position.
The chief guest at the ceremony was renowned educationist and Principal of Government Degree College Hayatabad, Nishat Aziz. Renowned Naat reciter from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shehzad Majeed, served as the judge for the competition.
Speaking on the occasion, renowned Naat reciter Shehzad Majeed said that the event organized to commemorate 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal was highly spiritual, blessed and dignified. He appreciated Radio Tehzeeb for providing young female students with a meaningful platform to showcase their talent in Naat recitation.
Chief guest Nishat Aziz, in her address, paid tribute to Radio Tehzeeb and said that organizing such purposeful and positive competitions was an important need of the time. She said that Radio Tehzeeb deserved appreciation for providing the younger generation with opportunities to showcase their abilities. She termed her participation in the ceremony an honour and also expressed special gratitude to Ezel Cosmetics Pakistan for providing valuable gifts to encourage the participating students.
Radio Tehzeeb Producer Latifullah said that more than 200 female students had participated in the Naat recitation competition, while 20 students reached the final round and impressed the audience with their melodious voices and excellent recitation style. He thanked the successful participants, the judge and the chief guest, saying that the objective of such programmes was to promote love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), religious values and positive activities among the younger generation.
Latifullah also expressed special gratitude to Ezel Cosmetics Pakistan for supporting the blessed programme and providing valuable gifts to encourage the students.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, prizes and gifts were distributed among the students who demonstrated outstanding performance. The participants appreciated Radio Tehzeeb for organizing the meaningful programme on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal and expressed the hope that such activities would continue to promote religious values, love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and positive engagement among the younger generation.
