BAJAUR : A grand and dignified wedding ceremony of Shawal Iqbal, a member of the Bajaur Students Council UK and a prominent social figure within the Pashtun community, was held at a private wedding hall in Birmingham. The event brought together a large number of distinguished guests, including prominent political, social, business and community leaders from Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Kingdom.
The ceremony was attended by senior members of the Bajaur Students Council UK, including Rahmatullah Mamund, Aminullah Mishal, Dr. Asad Bacha, Ziaullah, Engineer Hayatullah, Sajjad Ahmad, Dr. Jawad, Dr. Misbah, Zia-ul-Islam and Naveed. Prominent political and social personalities from Bajaur, including Haji Badshah Rahman, Fazal Waheed, Haji Sher Khan, and several other respected guests, also graced the occasion with their presence.
The Nikah ceremony was hosted by Najeebullah, while excellent arrangements were made for the reception and hospitality of the guests. Traditional Pashtun music added a vibrant cultural touch to the event, allowing attendees to celebrate and appreciate their rich heritage.
On the occasion, Rahmatullah Mamund, a leader of the Bajaur Students Council UK, welcomed the distinguished guests and thanked them for their participation. He emphasized the importance of unity among overseas Pakistanis and highlighted the need to preserve and promote Pashtun cultural traditions.
Speaking at the conclusion of the ceremony, groom Shawal Iqbal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests for their presence, warm wishes and prayers.
