ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of the Russian Federation Albert P. Khorev met with Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate of Pakistan and Chairman of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM).
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral and regional cooperation, with particular focus on humanitarian, scientific, educational and cultural ties.
Ambassador Khorev expressed hope for a peaceful resolution of political differences and the achievement of broad national consensus in the interests of the people of Pakistan.
Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri appreciated Russia’s efforts to promote regional peace and advance interregional Eurasian cooperation projects.
