DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Rising mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Saad Mehsud from Dera Ismail Khan secured another impressive national victory by defeating his opponent from Balochistan while representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Saad sealed the win in the second round with a Rear Naked Choke submission, adding another achievement to his growing list of accomplishments. He is a silver medalist at the Pakistan National MMA Championship, a gold medalist at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MMA Championship, and has also earned medals in provincial-level judo competitions.
Currently preparing for the IMMAF World Championship in Georgia, Saad said he is determined to compete against the world’s best fighters and represent Pakistan with pride on the international stage.
The young athlete, son of Central Anjuman Tajran Dera Vice President Sher Muhammad Mehsud, said every fight brings him one step closer to his dream of raising Pakistan’s flag high and establishing himself among the world’s top MMA fighters.
