RAWALPINDI: A high-level security official held an important meeting with media influencers, discussing regional security, India-Pakistan relations, and information warfare. According to security sources, India is attempting to divert attention from its internal challenges by creating instability in the region, particularly targeting Pakistan through disinformation and false narratives.
During the briefing, security sources alleged that Hindutva ideology has eroded India’s secular identity, intensified intolerance and extremism, and marginalized minorities. They further claimed that India’s expansionist policies, alleged repression in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and use of Pakistan-related narratives are aimed at suppressing freedom movements and diverting international attention. The sources reiterated that Pakistan and its people remain committed to safeguarding the country’s stability and sovereignty and would not be intimidated by external pressure.
