ISLAMABAD: Serena Hotels has strengthened its push to promote women’s participation in sports by successfully concluding the fourth edition of its “Tee to Triumph” Golf Training Camp, where more than 48 young girls received professional golf coaching under its Sports Diplomacy Initiative in collaboration with Margalla Greens Golf Club.
The week-long training camp, now in its fourth consecutive year, aimed to encourage young girls to take up golf while equipping them with technical skills and fostering confidence, discipline, teamwork, and resilience through structured coaching conducted by qualified instructors at Margalla Greens Golf Club.
The initiative forms part of Serena Hotels’ broader Sports Diplomacy Initiative, which seeks to create greater opportunities for youth, particularly women, to participate in sports and contribute to the development of a more inclusive sporting culture in Pakistan.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Secretary of Margalla Greens Golf Club Commodore (Retired) Majid Satti said the programme had evolved into an effective platform for introducing young girls to golf and helping them refine their skills under professional guidance.
He said the continued partnership with Serena Hotels reflected a shared commitment to supporting youth development and expanding opportunities for women in sports through meaningful initiatives.
Serena Hotels CEO Aziz Boolani said sport serves as a powerful tool for empowerment, inclusion, and personal development. He said the “Tee to Triumph” programme had continued to inspire young girls to pursue excellence while embracing the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
Boolani reaffirmed Serena Hotels’ commitment to supporting initiatives that create lasting social impact and provide young women with opportunities to realize their potential both on and off the golf course.
Since its launch, the “Tee to Triumph” programme has become one of Serena Hotels’ flagship youth sports initiatives, promoting female participation in golf and encouraging the next generation of athletes through professional training and mentorship.
