Three-Day Kaghan Festival to Be Held Soon: Malik Adeel Iqbal

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Museums, Malik Adeel Iqbal, has announced that a three-day Kaghan Festival will be organized in the scenic Kaghan Valley in the near future to promote tourism and provide recreational opportunities for visitors.

He made the announcement while addressing a ceremony held at the Tourism and Culture Department office on the occasion of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the festival.

Secretary Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Museums Saadat Hassan, Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority Shahid Khan Mohmand, Chief Executive Officer of Medmob Advertising Agency Jahangir Hussain, and other senior officials were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Adeel Iqbal said that tourist inflow to various destinations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has increased with the arrival of the summer season. He said the provincial government is taking all possible measures to promote tourism and ensure that visitors are provided with quality facilities and recreational opportunities.

The Special Assistant noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa possesses immense tourism potential and that the government is committed to enhancing services and attractions for tourists visiting the province.

During the ceremony, DG Tourism Authority Shahid Khan Mohmand and Medmob Advertising Agency CEO Jahangir Hussain signed the Memorandum of Understanding regarding the organization of the Kaghan Festival.

The three-day festival will feature cultural performances, exhibitions, tourism promotion activities and a variety of healthy entertainment programs aimed at highlighting the natural beauty, culture and tourism potential of Kaghan Valley and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
