KARACHI: As the United States celebrates 250 years of independence, innovation and enduring partnerships, U.S. Consul General Charles Goodman hosted a networking and debriefing session for eight Pakistani professionals who recently returned from the U.S. government-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The participants, representing diverse sectors including public health, journalism, law enforcement and waste management, shared their experiences, professional insights and the valuable networks they developed during their visits to the United States.
During the session, the IVLP alumni highlighted how the knowledge and skills gained through the exchange program are helping them make meaningful contributions to their communities across Pakistan.

Consul General Charles Goodman emphasized the importance of international exchange programs in strengthening people-to-people ties and fostering leadership, innovation and mutual understanding between Pakistan and the United States.
The gathering celebrated the achievements of the participants and underscored the lasting impact of educational and professional exchanges in promoting community development and international cooperation.
