University of Peshawar Scholar Fahmida Wazir Successfully Defends M.Phil Thesis

PESHAWAR: The College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar, has announced the successful defense of the M.Phil thesis of Ms. Fahmida Wazir from the Department of Food and Nutrition Sciences.

Her research, titled “Assessment of Calcium Deficiency and Dietary Intake Among School Children: A Case Study of Zamong Kor, Peshawar,” addresses an important public health and nutrition issue affecting school-aged children.

The study was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Zahin Anjum, with co-supervision by Dr. Sattar. The thesis was examined by Dr. Huma Naqeeb and successfully defended under the chairmanship of Principal Prof. Dr. Shazia Ghulam Mohammad.

Faculty members and academic colleagues congratulated Ms. Fahmida Wazir on her achievement and acknowledged the contributions of her supervisors and mentors in guiding the research.

The College of Home Economics stated that the research reflects its continued commitment to academic excellence, research innovation and addressing issues of social relevance through scholarly inquiry.
