US Delegation Praises Pakistan’s Business Potential During FPCCI Visit

LAHORE: A high-level business delegation from the United States has expressed strong confidence in Pakistan’s economic outlook during a visit to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Office Lahore, highlighting the country’s growing appeal as an investment destination.

The delegation, led by Mike Brickley, former President of Silicon Valley Bank, and Greg Leith, CEO of Convene, underscored Pakistan’s untapped business potential and emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral trade and investment ties between the two countries.

Also part of the delegation were Ashraf Mall, CEO and Co-founder of the Pakistan Partnership Initiative, and Dr. Waheed Yousuf, Advisor Advocacy at the organization. The delegation was received by Zaki Aijaz, Regional Chairman and Vice President FPCCI.

The meeting was attended by key business leaders including Tariq Mehmood, Kashif Khokhar, Mr. Saleem Shakir, President of the Christian Business Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), Tamoor Sandhu, Senior Vice President CBFP, and Amjad Ali Jawa, along with Executive Committee and General Body members of FPCCI, representatives of trade bodies, and members of CBFP’s executive board.

During the discussions, both sides explored avenues for investment, trade expansion, and deeper commercial engagement. Members of the US delegation praised Pakistan’s business environment and reiterated their interest in fostering long-term partnerships, viewing the visit as a positive step toward strengthening global business linkages and reinforcing international confidence in Pakistan’s economic potential.
