LAHORE: U.S. Consul General Stetson Sanders visited the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Lahore to discuss its partnership with Arizona State University, aimed at expanding access to American-affiliated higher education for students in Punjab and across Pakistan.
The visit highlighted the United States’ longstanding commitment to promoting educational excellence, innovation, and greater access to knowledge and skills as the country marks its 250th anniversary.
The NIT-Arizona State University partnership is designed to equip the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders with world-class education while strengthening academic collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.

Officials noted that such partnerships help build skills, expand opportunities, and contribute to economic growth and innovation in both countries.
