Bajaur: A tragic incident of a room collapse in the remote village of Gadamaar in Tehsil Barang resulted in the death of a woman, while one man and three children were injured. The district administration initiated relief measures immediately after the incident to assist and console the affected family.
According to official sources, the incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. in the village of Tangi, where a room suddenly collapsed. As a result, a woman died on
the spot, while one man and three children sustained injuries.
On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur Shahid Ali Khan, the Naib Tehsildar of Barang, accompanied by local elders, visited the site of the incident and met with the affected family. He offered prayers for the deceased, inquired about the condition of the injured, and provided immediate relief goods to the family on behalf of the district administration.
According to the administration, the injured man was shifted to the Category-D Hospital for first aid treatment and was later discharged after his condition improved. The three children were not shifted to the hospital as they were reported to be out of danger.
The Naib Tehsildar also uploaded the case of the collapsed room on the relevant government portal on the spot for compensation.
Local residents thanked the district administration for its timely relief efforts and for expressing solidarity with the affected family.
