PESHAWAR: A Women Facilitation Center has been established at Daudzai Police Station with the support of UN Women and the German Embassy in collaboration with Capital City Police Peshawar. The facility was inaugurated by CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad.
The center aims to provide immediate assistance, legal support, and a safe environment for women facing domestic and social issues. Speaking at the ceremony, the CCPO termed the initiative a significant step toward improving women’s access to justice and strengthening public trust in police services.
Officials from Capital City Police, UN Women, and other relevant departments attended the event. Commemorative shields were also exchanged in recognition of joint efforts for women’s empowerment and protection.
