PESHAWAR: A training camp for female badminton players is underway in Abbottabad, providing players with modern technical and fitness training.
International coach Nadeem Khan said special focus was being given to players’ technique, fitness and modern requirements of the sport to help them perform better at national and international levels.
The organizers appreciated the support of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem, international player Basharat Iqbal, Regional Sports Officer Suleman and the Abbottabad Badminton Association.
Female coach Halima Shaheen was also praised for her efforts in organizing the camp and securing support from local sponsors.
