World Heritage Day Marked Across KP with Preservation Pledge

Peshawar: World Heritage Day was observed today at various archaeological sites and museums across the province, celebrating the region’s rich cultural and historical legacy.

The Directorate General of Archaeology & Museums, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reaffirmed its commitment to preserving the province’s heritage for future generations. Officials stated that ongoing efforts are focused on safeguarding historical assets while promoting awareness of their cultural significance.

The Directorate is also working to upgrade and modernize museums across the region. These initiatives aim to enhance visitor experience, improve facilities, and strengthen preservation standards for valuable artifacts.

Authorities emphasized that the overall goal remains to protect and sustain the province’s heritage so it continues to inspire and educate future generations.
