PESHAWAR: The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the University of Peshawar, organized a three-day training program on “Social Action and Volunteerism” at the Baragali Summer Camp from September 4 to 6.
A total of 35 young participants attended the program, which focused on community engagement, volunteerism, responsible citizenship and positive social change.
The training aimed to equip youth with practical knowledge and skills to identify community needs, undertake social action and contribute to stronger and more resilient communities. Interactive sessions and collaborative activities encouraged participants to learn, work and volunteer together.
The program emphasized the message “Empowering Youth, Building Communities, Creating Change”, highlighting the important role of young people in addressing community challenges and promoting social development.
The scenic environment of Baragali provided an ideal setting for learning, teamwork and reflection. Participants were encouraged to build confidence, take initiative and become active contributors to constructive community activities.
The organizers said the initiative was part of ongoing efforts to promote youth development, volunteerism, community participation and social responsibility across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The three-day training concluded successfully on September 6, with all 35 participants completing the program and gaining practical insights to support positive change in their communities.
