PESHAWAR : Community Development Officer (CDO) Mansehra Muhammad Haneef has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to forest conservation, environmental protection and community participation in sustainable management of natural resources.
Haneef was presented with a certificate of appreciation in acknowledgement of his dedicated services and efforts to promote forest conservation and strengthen community-based environmental initiatives in the district.
The certificate was conferred by Syed Habib-ul-Hassan Gilani, Additional Secretary (Administration), Department of Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Officials praised Haneef for playing an effective role in enhancing community involvement in forest protection and for building stronger coordination between local communities and departmental conservation programmes.
They said meaningful participation of communities was vital to protecting forests, preserving natural resources and ensuring the success of long-term environmental conservation initiatives.
The officials expressed hope that such recognition would encourage field officers and local communities to further strengthen their efforts for the protection of forests and promotion of sustainable environmental practices across Mansehra and other parts of the province.
