PESHAWAR: Peshawar’s highly talented and rapidly emerging squash player Muhammad Sameer has qualified for the final of the 4th Aitchison National Junior Squash Championship, currently underway in Lahore. Showcasing exceptional skill, fitness, and composure, Sameer defeated Abdul Rehman Riaz in the U-11 semifinal to seal his place in the title clash.
The championship features promising young players from across the country, yet Sameer’s performances have stood out remarkably. His blend of confidence, speed, and technique has not only impressed his coaches but also caught the attention of senior squash figures, who see him as one of the brightest upcoming talents in Pakistan.
Sameer is currently affiliated with the PAF Academy in Peshawar and also trains at the PSB Coaching Centre’s Squash Academy as well as the Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, where he continues to refine his skills under the supervision of qualified coaches. According to his trainers, Sameer possesses the dedication, discipline, and work ethic that form the foundation of every great athlete’s success.
His qualification for the final is a testament not only to his personal hard work but also to the ongoing efforts to promote squash in Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
