PESHAWAR: In a heartfelt gesture of respect and solidarity, Peshawar Police organized an Iftar dinner at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines to honor the children and heirs of the city’s brave police martyrs. The ceremony aimed to recognize the sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty to safeguard the nation.
The event was attended by CCPO Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed, Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah, SSP Operations Farhan Khan, SSP Investigation Ayesha Gul, as well as Divisional SPs. The presence of senior police officials highlighted the deep commitment of the police leadership to support the families of their fallen colleagues.

During the ceremony, gifts were distributed among the children and heirs of the martyrs, creating an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement. In his address, CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed paid glowing tribute to the martyrs, emphasizing that their sacrifices had elevated the honor and dignity of the police force. He remarked that these heroes laid down their lives for the protection of the country and its citizens, and their legacy would continue to inspire future generations.

The CCPO further assured the children of the martyrs that the police force stands firmly by their side at all times and will never leave them unsupported. “The families of our martyrs are our extended family,” he stated, reinforcing the police’s commitment to their welfare and well-being.
The ceremony concluded with prayers offered for the martyrs, seeking blessings for their high ranks in the afterlife, as well as prayers for the security of the country, peace, and national unity. The event reflected the spirit of empathy and respect, demonstrating how the Peshawar Police continues to honor the legacy of its fallen heroes while fostering a supportive environment for their families.
