PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has appreciated the successful operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against Fitna-ul-Khawarij in Lakki Marwat.
He paid tribute to the security forces for eliminating six terrorists during the operation, describing it as a significant achievement in the fight against terrorism.
The Governor said that the timely and effective action by the CTD is highly commendable, as it resulted in neutralizing dangerous elements. He stated that the people of the province salute the sacrifices and professional performance of the security forces.
He added that elements of Fitna-ul-Khawarij are enemies of the country and the nation, and decisive action against them is essential for ensuring lasting peace.
Governor Kundi said that the security forces and law enforcement agencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are performing their duties with courage and professionalism to eradicate terrorism. He emphasized that the entire nation stands united with security institutions to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
He further stated that such successful operations are encouraging for peace in the province and the protection of citizens’ lives and property, and the government will continue its efforts until the complete eradication of terrorism.
