DERA ISMAIL KHAN: District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmed and Deputy Commissioner Dera Hikmatullah Khan offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers alongside police officers and personnel at Ijaz Shaheed Police Line on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
A large number of police officers and personnel participated in the Eid congregation, including SP City Muhammad Noman, DSP Headquarters Inamullah Khan Gandapur, DSP City Circle Malik Abid Iqbal, and DSP Suburb Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan.
Following the Eid prayers, special prayers were offered for the security and stability of Pakistan, regional peace, and the well-being of the people. Prayers were also made for lasting peace, harmony, brotherhood, and prosperity in Dera Ismail Khan district.
On the occasion, DPO Ziauddin Ahmed personally met police officers and personnel, exchanged Eid greetings, embraced them, and appreciated their dedication, professional commitment, and sacrifices in the line of duty. He encouraged them to continue serving the public with the same spirit and determination.
Speaking to the officers and personnel, the DPO said that despite the festive occasion of Eid, police personnel remained vigilant in performing their duties to protect the lives and property of citizens. He described their services as commendable and a source of pride for the department.
DPO Ziauddin Ahmed reiterated that Dera Ismail Khan Police remains fully committed to maintaining peace, law and order, and ensuring the safety and security of the public at all times.
